Elise Breekveldt
Founder – Netherlands
Social Worker, specialised in Youth Care, Families, Intergenerational Trauma, Complex Trauma, Body-Mind interventions and Yoga
Elise is born and raised in the Netherlands. Since she can remember, she has always had an affinity for other cultures and ethnic groups. During her Social Work studies, she specialised in Youth Care and complex trauma. She worked with various population groups, where complex trauma plays a major role. In her search for the most effective way to treat complex trauma, Yoga came her way. After she finished the 3 years-study of Yoga Teachers Training, she started implementing this body-oriented method in her work as a Social Worker. When she met Johann, whom she later married, she temporarily lived in Paraguay. Even now that they are based in the Netherlands, her affinity for other social and cultures groups has remained and cultivated. As a social worker and her pursuit of inclusion and diversity, leads her to develop ethical social projects in which she incorporates yoga and trauma treatment.
