Traumatic life events affect a significant percentage of the population from Paraguay. Communities and populations from high poverty areas, indigenous communities and campesinos face many obstacles to the enjoyment of their human rights, including poverty, discrimination, deforestation, disputes over land ownership, and a lack of social security protection. The effects of trauma and complex trauma can have lasting effects throughout one’s lifespan.

Our mission with Tribu Collective is to empower communities and populations in Paraguay from high poverty areas, indigenous communities and campesinos, to cultivate resilience to trauma and oppression by adapting body-mind interventions and the use of creative arts.
